A Design Led Approach to Everyday Living
The power of design isn’t reserved for the creatives of the world. In fact, most of us can apply Design Thinking and Human-Centred Design Principles to our everyday lives. From the mundane to the extraordinary, design is a core skill set that can enrich our personal and professional lives.
A Design Led Approach to Everyday Living aims to take a fresh approach to identifying the power and utility of Service Design and invites User Experience and Service Designers to share their real-world examples. From having a baby, to buying a house or finding your dream job, these case studies will illustrate how techniques of Human-Centred Design can help navigate life’s everyday challenges.
You might be wondering how design skills such as journey mapping, blueprinting, assumption testing, iteration, and prototyping can be applied to those of you who don’t have a design background. Well, you’ll get your chance to ask our panellists any questions you might have once they’ve finished presenting their case studies.
This panel is a must for those looking to understand how the power of Design Thinking can influence all aspects of our everyday lives.
