Andrea Ingham reappears as Spotify sales boss
Former Southern Cross Austereo sales boss Andrea Ingham is to lead music streaming service Spotify’s sales division across Australia and New Zealand.
Ingham departed SCA in July after new sales boss Brian Gallagher was appointed and will now replace David Raitt who has joined display performance company Criteo.
“Andrea is an outstanding talent and a respected leader with over 18 years’ experience across multiple media and markets,” said Kate Vale, managing director for Spotify Australia and New Zealand in a statement.
“She’s joined at an incredibly exciting time for Spotify AUNZ as we continue to combine unprecedented growth with groundbreaking innovation across the service.”
In the new role Ingham will be responsible for driving ad sales revenue and strategy.
Ingham has worked across radio, TV and agencies having held a number of key sales management positions including Nine Sydney sales director and national sales manager for Regional Mediaworks.
“In just over three years Spotify has carved out a commanding lead in music streaming across Australia and New Zealand,” says Ingham. “There isn’t a more dynamic, more rapidly evolving space in digital today and I’m excited about the opportunities that lie ahead.”
