Porsche hands PHD global media account
Porsche, the German luxury car maker, has awarded its global media planning and buying account to Omnicom’s PHD.
Other agencies understood to have been involved in the pitch were WPP’s Mediacom, Publicis Groupe’s Optimedia and Starcom, as well as Havas’ MPG.
Porsche launched a review of the global business in February.
The Australian incumbent on the account is The Ross Partnership. It is not clear if the agency will retain some media duties for the car maker.
Porsche was not available for comment at the time this article was posted.
Will they be re-hiring Paul Korch to run the account?

Presumably the best part of winning this account is the MD can justify to his/her spouse why they simply have to own the one of the cars
