Xero appoints Vladka Kazda to lead Australian marketing
Carsales’ chief customer officer, Vladka Kazda has joined the Xero Australia team as marketing director, replacing Penny Elmslie who has become the accounting software company’s global director of brand and community.
In her new role, Kazda will be responsible for Xero’s brand and go-to-market strategy in Australia, including leading the marketing function’s operations, channel mix, analytics, automation and customer loyalty programs.
Kazda, who spent 15 years at Carsales, said: “I’m thrilled to have joined the Xero Australia team at what is such an exciting time for the company. I’ve admired Xero as a business and as a brand for some time now and it’s a privilege to be joining during a period of such rapid growth, both here and in overseas markets.
“Via family, I’ve seen first-hand the impact Xero’s platform can have on the country’s small businesses, and accountant and bookkeeper community. Xero’s tools translate to less time spent on compliance and more time spent on the things that matter to you – whether that’s growing the business, or time with family and friends. A lot of companies speak about the concept of ‘customer-first’, and it’s always refreshing to see this in action.”
Trent Innes, Xero’s Australia & Asia managing director, added: “We are delighted to welcome Vladka to Xero. She is an authentic leader and a commercially-savvy strategic marketer with an impressive track record in helping businesses scale.
“Vladka adds another dimension to our senior leadership team in Australia and will play a pivotal role in helping us reach, engage and grow our market share of small business customers and accountant and bookkeeper partners in the region.”
Finally someone who is not anglo/aussie and female.
