Amber Robinson and Venessa Paech join Quiip as senior community consultants
Online community management specialist Quiip has named Venessa Paech and Amber Robinson as senior community consultants.
Both have previously worked with Quiip on a consultancy basis, and now join the company in permanent roles.
Paech has led online community for the likes of Lonely Planet, REA Group and Australia Post. She created the Australian Community Manager Roundtables in 2009 and co-founded Swarm, the annual conference for community professionals in Australia and New Zealand, with Quiip CEO Alison Michalk.
In addition, Paech co-founded the industry’s national network, Australian Community Manager, and is undertaking a PhD in the application of AI for online communities.
Robinson, meanwhile, has held online community roles at Nine’s Essential Baby Network and review website Beauty Heaven, Microsoft, and Lenovo. Since 2018, she has been running her own strategic content consultancy business.
Michalk said both offer a lot to the business and its clients.
“We’re thrilled to have Venessa and Amber join our team. They are both exceptional operators who bring significant value to Quiip and our clients. Venessa is one of Australia’s leading online community specialists and we have worked together for many years on initiatives to grow the reach, impact and value of online community management practice in APAC. Amber is an amazing talent with deep, hands on industry leadership experience in community, content and all things social media.”
