Lewis will discuss the changing environment in sports rights with leaders from Seven and Nine

Two new sessions have been confirmed for the conference. Rapidly shifting sports media rights will be discussed by Tom Malone, director of sport at Nine, Pat Moloughney, network director of sport sales at Seven, and Nicola Lewis, chief investment officer at Group M.

The panel will run through the changing rights landscape and discuss what to expect in 2019, what they believe the Australian sports fan wants, and how it will affect marketing opportunities for brands investing in sports.

Also confirmed is a session on connecting sponsor activations with passionate sports fans, led by Sean Callanan, founder of Sports Geek.

He’ll show delegates how to connect with sports’ most passionate digital fans. Callanan will explain content integration with campaigns and illustrate how to avoid the disconnect between sponsorship and digital to ensure your brand activations hit the mark online and in-stadium.

The Mumbrella Sports Marketing Summit and Awards takes place on July 4 at the Four Seasons in Sydney. Earlybird tickets are on sale now.
