Coke marketer Leisa Bacon joins QPAC
The former group marketing manager of Coca-Cola Australia and New Zealand, Leisa Bacon, has returned home to Brisbane from Sydney to join the Queensland Performing Arts Centre as marketing director.
Bacon was behind the launch of Coke brands Goulburn Valley Juices, Pumped Flavoured Water, Nestea Green Tea and the Mother energy drink brand.
QPAC CEO John Kotzas said: “Leisa’s appointment will be pivotal in taking QPAC to the next stage as we embark on a four-year program that will see exclusive presentations by some of the world’s finest performing arts companies, within a back-to-back program that includes box office breaking musicals and a revitalised Out of the Box Festival 2012.”
Bacon’s career includes roles at Roadshow Entertainment and Boots Healthcare.

No jokes about “bringing home the bacon”, “she’s a sizzling talent”, “it’s certainly not a rash-er move”, etc?

QPAC does NOT need a new marketing manager. It needs a miracle, a savvy catering manager and the investigative nose of a new Arts Minister. Let’s see how long Miss Bacon sticks it out.
