DDB Melbourne nabs Sunday Gravy talent as new general manager

DDB Melbourne has appointed a new general manager, nabbing Sunday Gravy’s GM and client director for the role.

To support the agency’s growth across new clients, Khia Croy will step into the general manager role, reporting to group managing director Mike Napolitano.

She joins DDB Melbourne after nearly three years at independent creative agency Sunday Gravy. She also comes to the new role with experience from Clemenger BBDO, Taboo, Leo Burnett, among other marketing roles.

Croy will lead the Melbourne team and its client stable, ensuring “every team member creates the best work and has the best time of their careers”.

Napolitano said: “Khia brings a wealth of experience to DDB Melbourne and is a hugely respected professional in the industry.

“With her strong background in both brand development and creativity, we’ll see the continued opportunity for our clients and their brands to get an unfair share of attention.”

Croy said she has always had a passion for building distinctive brands, and DDB is one of the “finest examples”.

“I am honoured to be part of such a world class team, many of whom I’ve already had the privilege of working with in previous lives,” she said of her appointment.

“I count myself very lucky to be amongst them again and look forward to putting our collective experience to good use to make the most effective work in the market.”

Her appointment is effective immediately.
