Edelman appoints head of health in Australia
Monique McLaughlin has been made head of health in Australia for Edelman.

Edelman has announced the appointment of Monique McLaughlin as head of health in Australia. McLaughlin brings over 25 years of experience as an in-house strategic communications advisor, specialising in healthcare and the industrial sector for organisations such as General Electric, Amgen and AstraZeneca.
McLaughlin’s appointment reflects the strategic focus and rapid growth Edelman has achieved in Australia and the region, with particular focus on pharmaceutical, medical technology and consumer wellness.
Commenting on the appointment, Edelman’s vice chair of health in APAC, Will Collie, said: “Edelman in Australia has long been recognised as an innovative and creative leader in the marketing and communications industry. McLaughlin’s appointment follows on from the recent regional appointments of Jenny Granger as head of strategy for Edelman’s health business in the APAC region, Brian Wang who joined Edelman as head of health for China, as well as Jenny Jackson, Edelman’s head of health in Hong Kong.
