Ella Baché debuts active-wear collaboration in new campaign for Great Bronze Tan
Ella Baché has collaborated with an active-wear brand for the first time as part of its digital campaign for self-tanning lotion Great Bronze Tan.
The skincare brand teamed up with PE Nation, an active wear brand known across social media platforms such as Instagram, to roll-out its new summer campaign.
The collaboration involved a photo-shoot with international model and influencer Joy Corrigan and will roll out across both brands’ social media platforms as part of Ella Baché’s focus on millennials.
Commenting on the brand’s decision to collaborate, Pippa Hallas, CEO at Ella Baché said: “Our heritage is very much stems from the Australian lifestyle, the beach, being active and being healthy.”
“It’s good to celebrate and support Australian women who are doing some fabulous stuff in the lifestyle space and collaborate with them.”
“From a marketing perspective, it’s all about connecting to like minded people and communities and this is a great opportunity,” Hallas added.
Pip Edwards and Claire Tregoning, the creatives behind PE Nation commented: “Living a healthy, active life is part of the PE Nation DNA, and when you look good, you feel good. That goes from your active-wear to what you put on your skin.
Ella Baché is a heritage skin and suncare brand and when the opportunity to work with them was presented to us, it made sense for us, as an outdoor, active brand, to jump right in,” Edwards and Tregoning added.
Commenting on the previous campaign with Tahnee Atkinson, Hallas said the brand was able to successfully reach its millennial audience and hopes the collaboration with Corrigan will replicate that success.
“It was fantastic; just purely the visibility and the reach. It was picked up by mainstream newspapers and lots of blogs and different social media platforms,” she said.
The younger Australian girls embrace it because Tahnee is such a beautiful, healthy looking girl. I think a lot of fashion and beauty campaigns they typically use really skinny models. I think Tahnee really represents the brand as well as a lot of real Australian girls.”
