Former Gumtree and Hireup CMO reveals move into coaching

Amanda Behre, the former chief marketing officer and marketing lead for Hireup, Gumtree and Expedia Group’s Wotif, has unveiled her next venture into coaching and consulting, Mumbrella can reveal.

Behre has officially launched Dear Thrive, a new platform providing personalised and practical work-life support for mid-career professionals. By connecting professionals to a diverse network of coaches and advisors, Dear Thrive will support their individual needs and capabilities.

With a rapidly evolving business landscape, mid-career professionals are finding themselves in need of support, and too often the current one-size-fits-all approach does not work.

Dear Thrive aims to combat this, by helping people through navigating complex business challenges, upskilling, or exploring career growth strategies.

“After interviewing numerous mid-career professionals, many were feeling overwhelmed, a little stuck and change fatigued,” said Amanda Behre, founder of Dear Thrive.

“Right now, the professional support people have access to is not designed with their individual needs in mind. It’s no wonder 4 out of 5 Australian employees are disengaged at work.*

“Our platform is a ready-made advisory network and we’re here to support professionals to make a faster impact to their business, find inspiration and take more ownership of their professional development.”

Members – or ‘Thrivers’ – will be able to connect with accredited coaches and experts across various fields, including leadership and strategy, data, product and technology, marketing, and more. The business’ network of advisors have experience working with brands including Adobe, WooliesX, Cochlear, REA, EY, Expedia, Domain, Google, as well as startups and agencies.

Key features of the platform include the diverse expertise, personalised support and workshops, subscription access, paid tailored support, and network building.

“The platform is still in BETA and we continue to make improvements to the experience based on user feedback,” Behre continued.

“We wanted to make coaching and advisory support more accessible for mid-career professionals.”

To celebrate the launch, Dear Thrive is offering a 3 month introductory trial offer to new ‘Thrivers’ from $50 per month ($150 for 3 months) with a personalised onboarding session with Behre.
