Grill’d strengthens its stance with Harry Garside partnership

Healthy burger chain, Grill’d, has announced that it is partnering with Australian boxing champion Harry Garside for a series of initiatives.

The collaboration will see Garside and Grill’d  work together on “custom menu items, nutritional content an local community sport support”.

According to Garside – whose exploits in the ring have seen him take home a gold medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games and a bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics in 2020 – Grill’d’s penchant for healthy ingredients and maintaining a high nutritional value for its products has made it a staple meal in his training regiment.

“Grill’d has always been a part of my regular meals while training and in competition,” Garside explained. “I know it’s 100% natural, healthy and provides me with the nutritional replenishment I need.”

It’s a sentiment Grill’d’s chief marketing officer (CMO), Julian Dunne, agrees with.

“We know that professional athletes absolutely love Grill’d, not only because our burgers are delicious, but because of our superior nutritional benefits,” Dunne said.

He continued with: “They are 100% natural, high in protein and fibre and provide at least 7 essential vitamins & minerals.

“That’s why our food is loved by athletes and Australian consumers alike. Delicious, healthy food is part of our DNA so we will continue to communicate and celebrate this.”

When asked about Harry’s partnership with the burger chain, Dunne sang the boxer his praises. “Harry is the perfect fit for us, being a maverick in the world of boxing. He has honed his craft and sporting career with the AIS, a key partner of Grill’d, and has achieved incredible results.”

In addition to Garside’s partnership, Grill’d’s CMO revealed that empowering future athletes and teams is an essential aspect of Grill’d’s ethos.

“As an iconic Australian brand, Grill’d is incredibly proud of its support within grassroot local sporting clubs all the way to elite athletes,” Dunne stated.

“Our aim is to power these individuals and teams to fulfil their dreams and hopefully one day represent their country at an international level.”

Additional campaign details are expected to be announced later.
