Logan Law asks drivers if they’ve ‘copped one in the bumper’ in outdoor campaign
Brisbane law firm Logan Law has launched an outdoor campaign asking consumers to give them a call if they’ve ever been ‘reared ended’, ‘taken one in the tailpipe’ or ‘copped one in the bumper’.
The campaign, which began on social media in 2016, followed by bus stops and now billboards, was created in partnership with Goa and is displayed in “geographical hotspots” to get attention.
“[Goa’s solution is to] gain attention with your creative so that your target audience want to research your business further. The worst thing advertisers can do in out-of-home is to simply put a business card on a billboard,” a statement from Goa said.
Nigel Munt, managing law clerk of Logan Law said when the firm’s slogan was initially launched on the M1 highway, it went viral on social media.
“Our campaign now has a life of its own. People are actively looking out for what we are going to say next,” said Munt.
He added: “The success of the Goa campaign has not only let us connect with our target market, but it’s also put us on the map in the big leagues.”
Why is this even news?

“Nigel Munt !!
The single best name for a lawyer EVER.
Munt, Nigel Munt.
Nigel, now I really do love your name, it’s man-ish, outlandish. Outstanding!
But your ad campaign is boorish, amateurish, unprofessional!
Who told you to put the balm on? I didn’t tell you to put the balm on!”
