Studiospace adds suite of new clients following October launch

Akcelo, Apparent, Chello, Houston and Republic of Everyone are amongst a suite of new clients to join online creative and marketing talent marketplace Studiospace’s roster since the platform launched last month.

Self-described as the ‘holdco for the digital age’, Studiospace provides clients with access to independent agency talent. Agency side, the platform gives access to projects with clients across the globe, with a tech-enabled matching and selection process that pairs agencies with clients.

The platform secured $2.5m in a VC funding round led by Fuel Ventures ahead of its launch into the UK and Australian markets after nine months of beta testing.

GM of client services, Kate Walker, says: “Since we officially launched to the market we’ve had massive interest from agencies and client-side businesses who see the benefits of our model to provide access to new opportunities.

“We’re thrilled to welcome so many award-winning and innovative Aussie agencies to the platform. We’re creating easy access to the best talent so that marketers can break out of the traditional and restrictive holdco model, and these world-class agencies are testament to those ambitions.”

Other new additions to the roster include brand and digital advertising agency Common Ventures, along with Josephmark, DO, Edge and SLIK as well as digital media agencies Shines Digital, Balmer, NorthSouth Advertising and In Marketing we Trust. The additions bring Studiospace’s global roster to over 150 agency businesses, spanning 16 service categories across 12 countries.

Aden Hepburn, CEO of Akcelo says: “The innovation that Studiospace brings to the market is really exciting. Every independent agency thrives on new business, so being able to streamline that process to give global clients easier access to innovative indie agencies is fantastic. We are really excited to take our first briefs and start helping clients in Australia and across the world solve their challenges.”

Lindsay Rogers, co-founder and MD of Chello adds: “By assuming so much of the risk, Studiospace gives independent agencies a level playing field to compete for briefs. It will undoubtedly drive higher standards, reduce costs and provide much better options for big brands.”
