Victoria University (VU) has launched a new campaign and brand platform, Uniquely You, developed by Melbourne-based creative agency, Noisy Beast.

The new platform showcases VU students speaking to their individuality, and embodies the University’s unique and award-winning education offering.

VU chief marketing officer David Llewellyn said VU celebrates students’ individuality which is why VU developed a successful and unique way of learning that empowers students to succeed on their own terms, no matter what their circumstances or story.

“It’s called the VU Block Model and is the first of its kind in Australia. Since 2018, we have offered students the chance to learn one subject at a time, with small class sizes, regular feed-back and workshop-style learning,” Mr Llewellyn said.

“With high levels of retention and strong academic results, this award-winning style of learning is an innovation developed to ensure our students feel welcome and supported. They can build rewarding careers inspired by their talents and insights, and Uniquely You is a campaign which recognises that potential,” Mr Llewellyn said.

In July 2023, VU announced two new agency partners for creative and media services; Melbourne-based Noisy Beast and Atomic 212.

“We’re thrilled to be partnering with such an innovative university that’s truly placing their students at the heart of everything they do. There is so much richness in the VU student stories, and we look forward to bringing these stories to life and the many unique ways VU delivers for students under the Uniquely You brand platform,” Noisy Beast group client director Laura Butler said.

“We are incredibly excited to take part in redefining and delivering a powerful campaign that resonates with current students and will attract a new generation of thinkers, creatives, and innovators,” Atomic 212 group account director Andrea Cehovin said.

The campaign is rolling out across TV, radio, out-of-home, cinema and digital channels and targets both prospective TAFE and higher education students.
