Former DDB managing partner Adam Donnelley new head of strategy at The Works
Former DDB group managing partner Adam Donnelley, has moved to The Works as its new head of strategy.
The senior appointment is a first for the agency which has not had a strategy lead before. Prior, Donnelley was lead on Telstra’s business at DDB.
Throughout his career Donnelley has worked with clients including General Motors, Mastercard and Nikon. He was executive vice president of MRM Worldwide and helped to set up MRM’s Detroit office.
The Works creative partner Doug Nicol said Donnelley’s appointment was an important step for the agency during a period of growth.
“Adam is a strategy specialist, his career experience has allowed him to develop skills across the full spectrum of marketing challenges we face as modern marketers,” Nicol said.
“As head of strategy Adam’s local and international experience will play a vital role and offer invaluable insight into clients at The Work; he is a brilliant addition to the team.”
