Bundaberg launches festive brand campaign via Breakout Room

Bundaberg Brewed Drinks has joined in on the festive celebrations, launching a nostalgic Christmas brand film, created by Publicis’ New Zealand based agency Breakout Room.

The brand campaign is centred on Bundaberg Brewed Drinks founder and ‘master brewer’, Cliff Fleming, in a nostalgic take on the simple joys of Christmas.

The 30-second brand campaign features vintage footage from the Fleming family archive throws back to Christmas celebrations of the past. The footage, which is from the 1970s, is complemented with Fleming reminiscing on the past as well as his hopes for the 2022 Christmas.

Bundaberg Brewed Drinks CMO Penny Glasson said the brand was focusing on a festive season of simple pleasures, such as spending time with family and friends.

“The fact that we have had the privilege to share the family’s personal footage for this campaign reminds how unique this brand is,” said Glasson.

“Many Australian consumers will be able to relate to the style of Christmas back in the 70s, a period that reminds us of the simple pleasures… just like our Ginger Beer.”

“As a proud Australian family-owned business, we understand the importance of family and friends, especially during the holiday season.”

The campaign rolls out on YouTube, social media and TV.
