Leading global youth media company which operates in 30 different countries and distributes to hundreds of million viewers across digital, linear, mobile, film and socials. Headquarters in Australia is based in very cool office in Eastern Suburbs. Within this company you will be working for an advertising agency that helps brands become relevant. They live in the heart of culture, helping brands embrace and connect with an audiences that sees and navigates the world with more nuance and sophistication than ever before.

Your new role

You’ll be responsible for overseeing key accounts, pitches, providing seamless project delivery, and tasked with deepening and growing the value of the agency’s relationships. As Account Director you’ll be the champion of providing non traditional solutions and being a key thought-leader in educating clients on this way of working.

Also, you will be working with the GM to drive New Business, working on pitches and alongside our creative and strategy team to deliver compelling answers to their business challenges, to transform their communications, their products, their categories. As new business is won, you’ll take a key role in leading them ongoing, developing deep client partnerships and great work.

To be successful you will need

• Demonstrated experience running large scale relationships with major clients.
• 6+ years of experience in creative management and strategy environment.
• Deep knowledge of technological, [socio] cultural and media trends.
• Has a long history of forging strong relationships with clients, and a proven track record of successfully managing multi-million dollar accounts
• Work on international brands, across categories.
• Deep understanding of brand marketing and how to build brilliant brand strategies.
• Excellent public speaking skills: storytelling, verbal and written communication skills. This includes the ability to bring an idea to life and confidently pitch that idea to clients, run meetings and write strategy papers
• Passionate and curious approach to innovative and non-traditional brand communications.
