Responsibilities include:
Managing an existing territory of registered Medianet corporate clients, identifying their needs and potential revenue.
Driving new and upsell business by designing and implementing strategies to ensure your territory successfully meets its growth objectives.
Retention and negotiation of new and existing contracts – never exceeding maximum subscription churn rates.
Actively promoting Medianet’s exciting range of media services to customers and sell/upsell additional services based on customer needs.
Monitoring client usage and expenditure on a regular basis, implementing strategies to maximise revenue growth.
Develop strong working relationships with existing customers through regular phone and face-to-face contact.
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop customer engagement plans and strategies to grow the business.
Developing and maintaining your own business plan for your territory.
Strategically plan and record sales activities using Hubspot CRM.
Meet and exceed KPIs.

Who are you:
Ideally you are a self-motivated, highly passionate and ambitious individual, who has the energy and passion for working within the media industry.

In order to be successful in this role, you will possess:

Proven sales ability including outstanding negotiation skills and persuasive ability in an Account Management or Account Director role.
Strong problem solving, business and reporting skills.
Highly capable at initiating new client engagement, including ‘cold calling’, identifying correct contact points and following up after initial contact.
Excellent attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
Excellent presentation skills.
Understanding of the Australian media and business landscape as well as the requirements of PR or communications based roles.
Strong phone and face-to-face sales skills.
Understanding and previous experience in solution selling .
Clear track record in revenue development and client management.
Strong team player who provides support to others and can work effectively with other team members to complete projects and tasks.
