Administrator, Program Operations

Screen Australia is the Commonwealth Government’s primary agency for supporting Australian screen projects, practitioners and businesses. We support projects of scale and ambition, distinct local stories told with strong creative voices and risk-taking content for all platforms.

About the role:
We have a unique opportunity for a bright administrator to join our friendly and robust Program Operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing operational support to the various funding areas of Screen Australia by contributing towards the delivery of consistent and efficient service to the Screen sector.

Key Responsibilities in this varied client service role include:
• Answering application enquiries relating to all aspects of the funding process, ensuring applicants are well informed of their application status.
• Responding to general enquiries via email or phone regarding our processes, terms of trade and guidelines.
• Processing applications from receipt through to assessment including data entry, liaising with applicants and report generation.

About you:
• You will have prior experience working in a similar administrative environment, ideally within the Screen industry or a customer focused role.
• Display strong administrative skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands and deliver to tight deadlines.
• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to display tact, diplomacy and sensitivity as required.
• Demonstrate a high attention to detail
• Possess the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
• Understand the significance of Screen Australia’s role in the Screen industry.

This role will suit a bright and enthusiastic team player with a positive can do attitude, who is passionate and keen to develop their knowledge of the Screen sector further.
