A rare and exciting opportunity exists to join one of Australia’s most well respected and fastest growing international development organisations – The Fred Hollows Foundation.

Working as part of the Communications and Community Education team (CCE), you will be responsible for coordinating a broad range of community education and communication initiatives used to enhance The Foundation’s public profile within the Australian market.

In particular, the Communications Coordinator will be responsible for:
• Coordinating all logistics and activities around the annual Fred Hollows Humanity Award to engage an audience of young Australians and their families;
• Supporting writing and coordination of major publications including Fred’s Vision magazine and the Annual Report;
• Support a communications strategy to build public awareness and brand recognition of The Foundation’s work;
• Support the management and logistics of The Foundation’s Ambassador program; and
• Project manage key Communications and Community Education initiatives including team meetings and contract management.

About you! You are creative and passionate about changing the world. You possess highly developed written communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time. You will have advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office and other relevant software (e.g. Photoshop, Adobe, Illustrator).
