Communications Executive

Job Description:

This role is for a passionate Communications Executive with experience managing corporate digital channels.

This is an exciting opportunity for a communications all-rounder to join a dynamic and creative team in a unique organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the execution of daily communications activities for a diverse set of corporate brands and support a suite of exciting flagship communications projects.

About the Role:

As the Communications Executive, you will be responsible for executing tactical communications and corporate marketing activities for brands within The iQ Group Global. On a daily basis, you will be creating engaging content for our digital channels and supporting members of the Media, Marketing & Communications team.

Key responsibilities include:

– Daily tactical internal and external communications tasks, including newsletters, website updates, intranet updates and EDMs
– Manage social media calendars for brands within The iQ Group Global
Community management of social channels
– Oversee social amplification, including content/brand partnerships and advertising
– Maintain corporate inbox management
– Research activities to support a wide range of business projects
– Conduct social, communications and web reporting
– Prepare competitor reporting and analysis

About You:

Our ideal candidate will have experience working in a media, communications or marketing assistant role in a corporate or agency environment. You will be a digital native and enjoy thinking outside the box to engage social media audiences for corporate brands on a day-to-day basis.

You must have advanced writing skills and are flexible when navigating competing tactical priorities and key stakeholders, keeping a cool head under pressure. Most of all, you are passionate about social media trends, innovation and have a drive to understand and dive into the world of biotech.

To be Successful You Will Have:

– 3+ years’ experience in a corporate communications, marketing or social media role working with multiple stakeholders
– Experience writing copy for marketing and communications materials
– Experience with managing multiple digital channels, including websites and social media, for a corporate or commercial brands
– An ability to understand and translate dense subject matter into easy-to-understand language
– Advanced digital management skills, including social media management tools, CRM and CMS applications
– Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with a reliable ‘can do’ attitude
– Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s Degree in Media, Marketing, Communications or related field.
