About the role

The Content Marketing Manager is responsible for generating engaging, relevant content to drive Marketing Qualified Leads for the Sales team. You will use your marketing expertise to create new marketing and sales content and assets that will raise awareness of our solutions and products to our Mid Market prospects and existing customers. You will pro-actively come up with smart ways to reach out to CIO’s and Heads of IT to increase our brand awareness and produce leads.

You will develop a content marketing plan that stretches across multiple engagement opportunities. This includes developing an e-newsletter program that our sales team can send to prospects and existing customers, that helps position Macquarie Cloud Services (MCS)as a trusted advisor and showcases our depth of expertise and solutions range.

You will build a content library of short articles, thought leadership pieces, case studies, video scripts, blog posts, tiles, etc that can be used across social media opportunities such as LinkedIn to build the brand of Macquarie Cloud Services and turn prospects into Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs). You will also proactive source existing content that you are able to leverage (in the public domain) such as technology / cloud articles that are specific to industries such as Healthcare, Financial Services, etc that you are able to include as part of your content library and e-newsletter program.

In addition, you will be responsible for our website and will evolve the content / produce fresh content, that will effectively drive to be more effectively drive sales leads. You will develop a strong understanding of our solutions and bring them to life on our site in a way that inspires prospects and helps move them into action. With the help of our sales team, you will get into the heads of our prospects and clients pain points and challenges and then write intelligent content to highlight how we can address these issues.

Your intelligent content will be integral to our demand generation, targeted campaigns and your engagement articles will be the foundation to our nurture programs. Your passion and creative will lift our marketing engagement and your pride in your work will produce great results.

About you

This position is critical to expanding the demand generation pipeline and accelerating Macquarie Cloud Services sales and revenue growth. You need to be into technology and able to adapt and learn to improve your content marketing results. You will dive into the data and be comfortable with CRM platforms such as Sales Force and Marketo.

To be successful in this role, you’ll have the following background and experience:

Post graduate degree in Marketing, Journalism or Public Relations
5 years + developing marketing content, for a B2B market
Have a strong track record of developing content demand generation campaigns and nurture programs
Previous experience in writing B2B content for mid market, preferably IT
Extensive experience with resource planning, budgeting and marketing performance measurement
Experience with some form of Marketing Automation Tools (Marketo Preferred) and CRM Tools (SF.com preferred)
Experience in developing content marketing plans and solutions for various business and marketing needs
Experience in Website content development
Excellent project management, presentation and decision-making skills and the ability to meet multiple competing deadlines across multiple projects including managing internal stakeholders and external agencies
Experience in developing an e-newsletter program
Detail-oriented and organized with excellent written communication skills
High level of energy and very motivated by being a brand and revenue champion for the organization
Results driven, creativity, originality and a passion for writing
