Content Producer – Digital & Print

*About the role*
The Content Producer role is a part of the Design, Media and Marketing team. Though the role will require you to work closely with a range of different people (staff & clients) across the organisation.
The content producer works across a range of channels (print and digital). The successful candidate will have a mix of skills and capacities that include a majority of the following:
-Ability to use Adobe Suite for basic design and printing applications (logos, forms and flowcharts, print collateral, banners and adds for web etc.).
-Ability to use Adobe Suite to repair and repurpose photographs for use in different mediums.
-Writing clear attractive and persuasive copy in different voices and for different audiences.
-Writing articles for print and digital, applying news values and SEO principles.
-Interviewing a variety of people for article content (print and online).
-Photography, both at live events and in a production environment.
-Videography, filming sit-down interviews in a production environment.

This role is not purely content production, but also content publication and management. In addition to the above the successful candidate will have some understanding of the following content channels and their management systems:
-Print processes for print magazines; and marketing collateral production
-Internal Digital TV channels;
-Websites and their CMS (working mostly in WordPress)
-Facebook, Google, Vimeo (and potentially other social platforms) working in browser-based CMS or TweetDeck or Buffer.

The Content Producer will work in a collaborative, creative environment as a part of a team, often with multiple projects at a time. As such, they need some familiarity with collaboration supportive applications such as Dropbox, Slack and Trello.

*Who suits the role?*
The ideal candidate is a personable, creative, enthusiastic and effective content producer. Someone who has strong interpersonal skills and genuinely likes older people. Someone who works comfortably with autonomy and also as part of a creative team. Someone with a good attention to detail.
You hold tertiary qualification in multimedia production/graphic design/journalism/photography /videography or equivalent.
You have a proven record of achievement in Digital Production or Content Production (in industry or agency), as a content producer/writer or similar. You will also have demonstrated experience in effective stakeholder engagement.
You must have experience with the Adobe Design Suite and good knowledge of the broader Adobe Creative Suite.
Professional experience in Social Media; with an eye to community management and content management would be favourable.
Experience with WordPress or similar Website CMS is also welcome.
The job requires you to work flexible weekday hours around events and key production periods, within a time in lieu system.
