DesignOps Program Manager

The Why

We’re looking for DesignOps program manager to help scale this digital product design team with more efficiency. As this company mature and invest in design, they need your help to operationalize workflow, hiring, alignment between teams, and more so designers can focus on design work while you take care of the rest.

The What

Resourcing: Align your headcount to your roadmap by thinking about resourcing: who should be doing what and when, while considering the strengths of the design team.

Program management: Begin to shape the design process by instituting communication and collaboration protocols while establishing credibility and become the source of truth for your team.

Team onboarding: If you’re putting DesignOps in play, you’re likely increasing headcount. Demystify the onboarding process for everyone by creating documentation and protocols.

Team morale and education: A design team requires inspiration, collaboration, and continuing education. Establish how you can facilitate both individual and group growth.

The How:

A minimum of 5 years as an agency and/or in-house trafficking manager, studio manager, creative services manager or similar.

Previous experience and demonstrated success in leading organisational change

In-depth knowledge of creative processes and production techniques across print, and digital.

Experience managing multiple projects at once, resolving competing priorities, working swiftly under pressure, and meeting project deadlines

Insanely organized with a strong attention to detail
