Digital AD / Director – Media Agency

The role.
Focused on the planning, analysis and architecture of media recommendations. Responsible for the output of executives and coordinators and the booking, tracking and performance of all media campaigns. Collaborating with team’s buyer to deliver results. Reporting directly to the Group Account Director and the day-to-day contact for clients. Assist Group Account Director with the reporting of the team’s billings, forecasts and other administrative tasks.

What you will do.
• Builds relationships with key media contacts
• Develop new methods of imparting and sharing best practice
• Ensure quality output and effectiveness internally and externally
• Working with the group to link digital media to business strategy
• Working across all departments to contribute towards business objectives.
• Responsible for all our online offerings including social and search
• Manage all media negotiations, planning, tracking, strategy and reporting
• Ensure the best outcome and ROI for our clients
• Keep abreast of new media initiatives and developments

What we look for.
• Tertiary education (preferably Marketing or related)
• Experience in managing a team within a media agency or similar field
• 3+ years’ experience in a digital media role
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment;
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Proactive, self-starter, clear communicator, autonomous worker
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
• Expert with industry ad serving & reporting technologies (Sizmek etc.)
• Expert in industry ad products, rich media, specifications, file formats etc
