Overview:

ergoPouch are looking for an enthusiastic Digital Marketer who loves using insights to plan and execute robust digital solutions and drive commercial results. We are looking for a digital marketer to join our team, who is a natural critical thinker, KPI-oriented and a team player. The next member of our digital marketing team will:

Craft and manage solutions for eCommerce, digital paid media and email communications in Australia, New Zealand and on our US website
Drive data analysis and use insights to create further growth opportunities and commercial results online
Collaborate with a growing local and global team
Have an eagerness to learn, be enthusiastic and a natural problem-solver
Be customer-first, and use customer needs to drive company growth
Be familiar with the leading tools and programmes used to gather & extract data and insight and apply these to your work

The key areas of responsibilities will be:

Digital Marketing – Paid Media and Email

Plan for and conduct research, data analysis and insights gathering.
Use insight to inform KPI planning and strategic objective and goal setting for paid media and email channel
Plan strategic and creative digital solutions for paid media and email that are commercially sound and meet objectives
Work with other team members and input into holistic marketing campaigns that meet customer needs across channels
Activation, management and optimisation of campaigns through digital advertising platforms such as Google AdWords or Facebook Power Editor
Activation, management and optimisation of campaigns and communications through email enterprise platform, including management of platform logic and automation
Working with our developers to ensure proper campaign tagging, tracking, reporting and analysis.
Campaign results analysis and recommendations for optimisation that deliver against KPIs.

eCommerce

Writing copy for the ergoPouch website, including SEO copy and meta properties
Working with the customer service and marketing teams to ensure the website is updated in a timely manner for product launches, sales, campaigns, promotions and other such events
Reporting on ecommerce performance, including that of contributing channels to performance
Using data and insight to identify UX and conversion optimisation opportunities for site improvement, and working with the Marketing Manager and our development agency to implement these
Working with our development agency to identify, manage and resolve site bugs and other issues related to the website and hosting environment
Managing the integrations and platforms that link to website, including a customer reviews platform, personalisation and marketing platform, payment gateways and email platform

Team Engagement and Knowledge Sharing

Contribute to the regular collection of data, trends and insights that are relevant to our business and customers
Champion the assimilation of new trends and technology for digital marketing
Work with the Marketing Manager and Managing Director to identify and recommend ways of creating or improving team processes, procedures or templates that will improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the team.

Qualifications & Experience

The candidate should meet the following professional requirements:

3+ years digital marketing experience
2+ years experience gained from working with retail brands in eCommerce and digital marketing (pure play and/or integrated)
Proven experience in research and data analysis
Proven experience in paid media planning in digital, and campaign management
Proven experience working with enterprise level content management systems and platforms (Magento and Shopify experience is a bonus)
Exposure to content and social media strategy
A thorough understanding of the digital media landscape; technologies, media buying and management platforms
Qualifications in Google Analytics preferred
Qualifications in Business, Marketing or Communications preferred
Exceptional oral and written communication skills
Candidates with previous experience working in the baby and toddler industry preferred
