Group Account Directror – FMCG + Shopper


The Why

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Group Account Director to join a one of the largest activation agencies of its kind, with a network of specialists in Shopper, Promotional Experiential, Trade, and Digital Marketing. They develop compelling communications that are informed by data and insights that create purchase behaviour by connecting with people at the right times, in the right places, and in the right ways.

Due to some internal moves this client is looking for an experience GAD to work across a portfolio of big named agency clients.

The What

A natural leader, you will be someone who is attracted to the opportunity to be a real ambassador for the agency.

In this role you will be responsible for the overall health and management of agency clients and a thriving internal team with responsibilities that include:

Client Happiness – championing a lasting and strategic partnership that cultivates a client experience to engage and delight

Team – ensuring your team understands their responsibilities and has a clear path of action. Love, Mentor and Grow the team.

Process Development and Fulfillment – maintaining ongoing communications, both internal and external, to keep processes and resources streamlined

Financial Development & Oversight– leading the team’s understanding of financial implications regarding jobs/accounts including forecasting

Strategy and Business Setting – coaching your team to ensure a deep understanding of their client’s business challenges and ensure a high-level dialogue

Resource Management – Working alongside the Creative Director to ensure you have the right people at the right time to deliver to client/ project needs

The How

You will be an experienced Group Account Director with 10+ Years agency experience in growing clients and account service teams. With direct experience of development, implementation, and ongoing management of multi-touch point communication programs: Advertising media, digital media, e-marketing, mobile marketing in store, event and promotions, direct and data marketing.

Additionally it would be favourable if you had experience working with major FMCG clients in a shopper environment.
