We have a rare opportunity for a Sales & Events Executive to join us and spread the word about HOYTS.

The Job:
Located in the heart of George Street, the Sales & Event Executive will join our Corporate Solutions Department, focusing on Sales. Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, this role will deliver revenue and new-business growth through cinema hire, event and group bookings.

We are looking for someone passionate about exploring opportunities to build the HOYTS community. You will even have the support of Sales Coordinator to help you succeed, so you can reach your targets. Key responsibilities include:
Achieving set quarterly targets and KPI’s
Implementing sales strategies that drive inbound leads for event bookings or venue hire
Generating new business through your networking and relationship management
Showcasing our locations and product offerings for business and private event solutions
Liaising with clients on all booking logistics.

Who we are looking for:
It goes without saying you’ll be great at establishing and building relationships. You are highly resourceful, focused, agile, and a team player with a can-do attitude. You will be passionate about using your sales and communication skills to assist in driving the success of the Corporate Solutions department. We’re also looking for someone with:
Demonstrated experience in generating new business sales leads and conversion
Demonstrated experience in managing client relationships or in customer management
Tertiary qualification in business, commerce or sales is desirable
Experience in event operations or management is desirable
Experience in price and contract negotiations is desirable
Demonstrated ability in meeting set sales targets
Excellent organisation skills with a focus on delivering against agreed targets
Fluency in English to a high standard and possess strong communication skills as liaison with clients and colleagues is a large focus within this role
Excellent telephone manner
Proficiency in Microsoft Office with a focus on Word, Excel and Power Point
Ability to work in a fast-paced event management and team environment
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent presentation skills
Ability to work unsupervised and with a high level of autonomy.
