In-house City based role – Consumer PR Manager – Highly visible global consumer brand

This blue chip organisation is in the exciting sector of food and beverage and they now require a strong consumer PR Manager to take responsibility for their various high profile brands.

As the PR Manager you will be an integral part of the Marketing team and you will be instrumental in developing the strategic direction for various brands ensuring PR/media objectives are met and support the overall business strategy. You will oversee the implementation of your strategies in order to drive brand awareness, increase usage of products and to influence the Australian online advertising marketplace.

You will enjoy being hands-on managing the external PR agency as the key day to day contact. As you are customer focused you will enjoy liaising with the market intelligence and sales teams in order to identify opportunities for the end customer.

Tertiary qualified ideally in PR or Marketing, you will have around 6-8 years’ experience in a consumer PR environment preferably including some consumer food and beverage experience. Alternatively if you have been working within a PR agency on global consumer/food and beverage accounts this is the perfect opportunity to go client side. You will be a team player possessing impressive negotiation and presentation skills. You will enjoy working with senior stakeholders within the business and have an ability to work across teams.
