Your new role:
As our Marketing Communications Officer, you will help drive the planning and execution of marketing and communication activities, to support the growth, awareness, and engagement across our 5 diverse businesses, all within the semi-finished plastics industry. While the diversity of this role means you will be wearing many different hats, your key responsibilities include:
~ Liaising with stakeholders to ensure Branding, PR and Social Media strategies are implemented consistently.
~ Assisting with the planning, budgeting, and production of marketing communications tools.
~ The overall management of the sample program including, but not limited to; colour cards, sales tools, literature, A4 samples and production samples.
~ Maintaining and updating changes to catalogues and minor website updates.
~ Supporting our Marketing Communications Manager with the execution of internal and external communication programs and marketing campaigns.
~ Working closely with our Digital Marketing Specialist to curate and develop enticing, value adding content for all customers within the MM Plastics group.
~ The first point of contact for any marketing support requests from the Sales Team.
Reporting to the Marketing Communications Manager, this full-time position can be based in either Peakhurst or North Rocks, Sydney – whichever is an easier commute!

What you’ll need to succeed:
Let your organisational and creative skills shine and experience the professional and personal growth that comes with it! To be successful in this role:
~ You’re an experienced and passionate professional with at least 1-2 years’ experience in marketing communications under your belt.
~ You have previous experience in copywriting – highly desirable, though not essential.
~ Excellent written and verbal communications are a must, so your ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders is second to none.
~ You have a basic understanding of digital marketing concepts.
~ You have strong technical competence and demonstrated ability to communicate product features, advantages, and benefits.
~ You’re excellent at managing your own time and schedule; you don’t need someone watching over your shoulder to get things done.
