Marketing Data & Research Analyst

The UTS Marketing and Communication Unit (MCU) is currently seeking a Marketing Data and Research Analyst to join the team. This position takes responsibility over the management the department’s marketing analytics dashboard, design and development of internal repository of market-focused insights, as well as assisting with strategic research and research on new course development.

MCU takes the lead in developing strategies and relationships to build the UTS brand in order to achieve its desired prominence in the marketplace. It is responsible for effectively promoting and enhancing the image and reputation of the university through the development and implementation of marketing plans, media and public relations activities, internal communication and corporate identity strategy.

The position reports to the Market Research and Insights Manager and is a member of the Campaign Strategy and wider UTS marketing and communication team.

If successful in applying for this role, you will be responsible for:

• Leading the maintenance and continuous development of MCU’s marketing analytics reporting environment
• Designing, developing and managing UTS’s internal repository of market-focused insights
• Assist with research on new course development, brand and reputation tracking, and strategic research priorities
• Acting as subject matter expert and escalation point for the day-to-day operational activities of the marketing analytics dashboards
• Produce and disseminate regular reports for staff across the university, including senior leaders, synthesising key findings from course-based and strategic research projects and delivering actionable insights based upon these

Remuneration & Benefits
Base Salary Range: $88,288 to $97,668 pa (HEW 7)
This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary.

This position is full-time and appointment will be made on a fixed term basis for 18 months.
