ABOUT THE ROLE
The Online Content Editor is responsible for the ensuring the excellence, velocity and effectiveness of all content on the Sydney Opera House website. This includes playing a leading role across the Engagement Portfolio in lifting the standard of content across all online channels.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
• Communication, marketing, media or journalism qualifications, including 3+ years of professional experience.
• Excellent creative writing, editing and proof-reading skills, in addition to prove abilities in developing and sourcing content leads.
• Excellent verbal communication skills, including presentation and negotiation skills.
• Strong technical understanding and experience in website analytics, SEO, and accessibility best practice, including experience with Google Analytics.
• The ability to prototype and develop creative across SOH digital channels utilising a fundamental understanding of HTML, CSS and Javascript.
• Demonstrated project-management skills, including the ability to lead or participate in a number of different projects at once in what can be a pressured environment.
• Experience in user-experience design preferred.
• An understanding of the marketing channel mix (with a focus on digital channels) and their functions, content requirements and success metrics of each.
• Strong analytical mind and sound experience with reporting and insight sharing.
• An ability to work autonomously, and as a member of a team to deliver competing priorities.
• Collaborative team player
• Passion for the digital industry coupled with high awareness of digital trends.
• Passion for the Arts and cultural experiences.

EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS
Job Status: Full-time, Ongoing

Salary: Base salary of $75,742 per annum, plus 9.5% superannuation contributions
