Paid Media Manager

We are looking for a talented Paid Media Manager to join our team based in our modern Sydney office in Pyrmont.

The Paid Media Manager is responsible for the implementation of high impact digital performance campaigns and optimisations to deliver engagement, conversion, retention and revenue targets for Australia’s leading media brands including The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age and The Australian Financial Review.

Key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
-Develop, build and continuously optimise campaigns using key digital channels including social, display and SEM
-Understand business priorities to determine successful digital performance & audience strategies that deliver against engagement, conversion and revenue targets
-In depth reporting and analysis of campaign performance to leverage learnings, support media mix modelling and future campaign strategy
-Generate actionable insights from website and app audience analyses and campaign analysis
-Audience building management in key digital channels from 1st, 2nd and 3rd party data sources using Data Management Platforms (DMP)
-Management of the digital performance budget ensuring efficiency of spend and ROI
-Understanding the latest trends in digital technology
-Keep on top of best practice digital marketing, and share with the team.

As our preferred candidate, you will have:
-3+ years demonstrated experience in digital marketing
-Good understanding of audience behaviours online
-Solid knowledge of online marketing tools and best practices with experience in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager & DMP set up
-Excellent analytical and project management skills
-Willingness to adopt a test and learn approach to ensure paid media investment is being deployed most efficiently
-Strong commercial outlook
-Meet deadlines, ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
-Strong communication & collaboration skills, including internal and external stakeholder relationships
-Ability to articulate digital activity in a simplified and effective manner to stakeholders.
