The position will encompass comprehensive public relations strategy creation and execution; client management; networking with a view to establishing new business leads and client conversion, as well as; a proactive approach to business development.

Role Overview:

– A strong focus on business development with a KPI of signing new clients is
integral to the role
– Creating strong, creative and results-focused PR campaigns with the ability to
deliver and obtain outstanding results
– Foster relationships with media outlets, journalists and social media
– Organise perfect events and consumer promotions, deliver interview
opportunities, network and write press releases that get results
– Manage client accounts, deliver reports and align expectations with seamless

Essential Criteria

– Minimum of 2+ years industry experience and the ability to work in a small,
fast-paced team
– A strong contact base of lifestyle media and a love of networking
– Knowledge and experience in designing and executing creative PR campaigns
– Exceptional attention to detail and excellent writing, communication and
presentation skills
– Social media savvy. The applicant should be an avid user of these mediums

Applicants must be hungry. Be willing to put in the hard yards, always be 100% on – even on weekends if inspiration strikes. You must want to dream big, to wow. To be polished, on-time, courteous and prepared – always. Have a love of attending events, social media and the world around us. Love nothing more than seeing clients’ work on TV, in print and online. A hard worker who will happily do the coffee run, pack the gift bags and be a team player that see success as a group effort.
