Radio/Digital Media Sales – Agency Lead

This is one of the biggest media groups in Australia.

This media company has wonderful high energy brands such that lead market sectors and demographics.

We energise brands through our talent, content and innovative ideas, with a data rich insight led approach.

You’ll be selling to a portfolio of agencies at a senior contact level and therefore experience in selling to agencies is essential.

You will need to be able to respond to briefs, come up with concepts and strategies to present to agencies and work with your motivated colleagues internally.

You’ll also be selling promotional ideas and generating revenue for the online component of the business.

You have a co-ordinator to support you and you will report into a proven and experienced Sales Manager.

This is a hardworking team, unafraid of any challenge. Show tenacity, ability to grow agency business and to account manage agencies, be proactive with creative, brainstorm innovative concepts and you’ll be a star.

Your background would ideally be in radio, but this is not essential. More essential skill sets include:

• Excellent Sydney agency market experience and contacts. Know this market like the back of your hand

• Several years of media sales experience

• A people person for internal and external relationships. Vibrant personality always helps.

• Know the media landscape – TV, Digital, Outdoor, Radio, Publishing etc including who’s who in this world, competitor stats and projections, how the mediums are sold and so forth.

Salary Package – c$135-150k OTE.
