Shopper Marketing Strategy Planner

This new role to the agency will play a pivotal role in the agencies strategic capabilities and offerings to their client, a Global leader in Consumer Electronics.

Reporting to the Business Director and Managing Director, the Shopper Strategy Planner will be responsible for establishing the agencies strategic capabilities, working closely with Account Management and Creative, in the planning and development of retail creative and solutions.

What you’ll do:
• Designing CDJ scenarios and strategies to support the development of retail communications and
• Establishing digital and offline shopper strategies
• Interpreting and developing consumer insights
• Development of creative briefs for internal briefings
• Presenting shopper strategies to our client
• Interpreting client briefings and collaborating with the Business team and creative teams, in order to present strategically sound creative solutions to our client
• Connecting with other company branches to share insights and case studies
• Relationship building with key client Data and Insights teams
What you’ll bring
• 5 years + previous experience in a similar role
• Experience across Telecoms, Operator/carriers and/or FMCG preferential
• Customer strategy planning experience in carriers (Telstra, Optus, Vodafone) or FMCG companies preferred
• Past experiences in managing global brands
• International experience welcomed
• Research experience is also advantageous
• Excellent verbal, written and visual presentation skills
• High skillset in MS Office
• Results-driven, open-minded and positive personality
• Excellent communication and organisational skills with extreme attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills, and ability to interface diplomatically with all levels of employees and management
