Social Media Executive – The Big Red Group

We are looking for a Social Media Executive to join our incredible social and content team. This role will look after the Adrenaline social channels, covering both organic and paid activity across the year. The opportunity will see content and innovation come to life in always on marketing, key campaigns, incredible partnerships and influencer strategies across a range of platforms, all working hard to bring the new Adrenaline brand to life for our customers.

This role will see you working very closely with the Adrenaline brand manager, our in-house Creative Studio, our Performance/ Merchandise teams, customer service and the supply community when required. This role requires a team player who thrives on working in a collaborative environment, finding unique and creative ways to overcome problems and truly believes that no task is too big or too small. It will report into the group digital content manager.

What you will do

– Create, schedule and publish a range of content for the Adrenaline social channels, ensuring they are on brand and deliver against the overarching brand strategy

– Work to grow our owned audiences, community engagement, and brand awareness with relevant, timely and on brand content that maximises both organic and paid activity investments

– Work to innovate and test our paid media strategies on Adrenaline to ensure always-on and hallmark campaigns are delivering against set benchmarks, whilst growing organic reach and impact

– Plan and execute best in class activations with key brand, social or content partnerships (including influencers)

– Apply an analytical approach to the work you do, ensuring we are delivering against our KPIs, testing and measuring impact of all of our initiatives.
Support both the group digital content manager and brand manager in bringing the brand strategy to life

What you will bring
– A deep passion for our brands and their role in culture, partnered with an excitement for great content, innovation and measurable results
– An understanding of Ads Manager, best in class social executions, Google Analytics, SEO and basic HTML
– A love for results, optimisations and community, understanding the power of 2 way conversations with our customers
– The ability to write in our brands tone, in both long and short form formats across a range of channels
– A passion for social and digital media, the pace of change in these environments and the ability to respond to opportunities that arise quickly to make a real impact

The BRG is currently set up as a fully remote work environment, with all our team members working from home. We will be back in a Sydney-based office space from next year, we share experiences every month and have a range of co working spaces available to suit you.
