Studio & Production Manager

Hoyne are looking for a high energy Studio and Production Manager to come in and play an essential role in the running of our Sydney studio. The central point of contact across scheduling, production and technology, this role needs a strong leader who can work closely with Account Service and Design to proactively identify solutions that improve processes and promote efficiency. The role is ultimately responsible for the commercial management of projects through the studio in supporting the execution of outstanding solutions for our business and clients.

Responsibilities:
• Allocating resources to all work coming into the studio as needed and ensuring commitment to the schedule.
• Working as a conduit between the account service and creative teams to ensure effective communication and positive energy on projects.
• Swiftly identifying and implementing solutions for unforeseen scheduling, production and technology issues that may arise.
• Ongoing regular reviewing of studio productivity to ensure commercial objectives are met/exceeded.
• Establishing strong working relationships with Account Managers to understand complexities of projects and plan for any potential challenges or required changes.
• Effectively managing a small team of dedicated Finished Artists.
• Providing quality assurance in checking all Finished Art is fit-for-purpose.
• Coordinating and overseeing testing, trials and press-checks as required.
• Documenting and issuing of print specifications in consultation with creative leaders.
• Ensure Finished Art is suitable for print with approval from stakeholders.
• Own and drive supplier relationships to ensure outstanding output of work.

Required Skills and Experience
• Minimum of 4 years experience in a similar role(s).
• Professionalism, initiative, proactivity and agility across the complexities of studio and production management.
• Working understanding of exceptional production quality within a commercial studio environment.
• Proven ability to build trust and credibility with the entire studio and with all stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of the pressures and challenges that face studio employees.
• Proven experience in production management across both print and digital output.
• Ability to proactively identify opportunities within the studio that would be beneficial to the daily working environment and our clients.
• Proven experience in production management across both print and digital channels.
• Strong understanding of projects and how they run.
• Friendly demeanor and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Good understanding of MacOS and hardware in defining issues for resolution and coordinating complex issues to be resolved by support partners.
