Marketing Science Ideas Xchange (MSIX) makes triumphant return in 2024

After a four-year hiatus, Marketing Science Ideas Xchange (MSIX) is back to place today’s behavioural and marketing science landscape under a microscope.

Taking place over September 4 and 5 at Ovolo Woolloomooloo in Sydney, the event is a must-attend experience for all professionals in the media, advertising, marketing, research, communications and data industries, particularly those eager to learn how to better develop and executive strategies based on evidence.

The two-day event will see the return of Thinkerbell’s founder and consumer psychologist, Adam Ferrier, as content curator.

Ferrier has already selected the first three sessions for day one – conference day.

Delegates are being encouraged to bring their “most challenging, inappropriate or provocative questions” to a special recording of the podcast, ‘Black T-Shirts’, featuring Telstra’s chief marketing officer Brent Smart.

Meanwhile, Dr Juliette Tobias-Webb – professor of practice, behavioural science and translational research from the AI and Cyber Futures Institute – will speak on the possible future of marketing sciences, with the possibility of a robotic dog (or dogs) scheduled for an appearance.

And while Dr Tobias-Webb looks to the future, the Commonwealth Bank of Australia’s chief behavioural scientist, Will Mailer, will focus on the present and explain the realities of leveraging marketing sciences in house.

MSIX’s workshop day – day two – will host a catalogue of interactive workshops, with the likes of Thinkerbell’s head behavioural science thinker, Matt Plant, speaking on his agency’s ethos regarding pricing, Robert Brittain from Robert Brittain Consulting speaking on creating marketing effectiveness without becoming reliant on return-on-investment, and more.

Tickets for Marketing Science Ideas Xchange are available now – with earlybird pricing open until July 26.
