McGinn to discuss what went wrong at Mumbrella’s managing social media risk masterclass
Former Mindshare strategy director and Social Media Club Sydney co-founder Cathie McGinn has joined the line up for next week’s Mumbrella Masterclass on Managing Risk in Social Media.
McGinn, who joins Mumbrella in an editorial and marketing role on Monday, will present a series of case studies of brands that have found themselves in social media firestorms, discuss what went wrong and the lessons to be learned.
She will also take part in a panel with fellow speakers media lawyer Stephen von Muenster, Bond University Professor of Journalism Mark Pearson and the Australian Communications and Media Authority’s Julia Cornwell McKean. Kim McKay, boss of digitally-led PR agency Klick Communications, will moderate the event.
Mumbrella’s Managing Risk in Social Media Masterclass takes place at Dockside, Darling Harbour, Sydney on Thursday March 1.
A limited number of places at the half day masterclass are still available.
