Sling & Stone launches into American market

Public relations agency Sling & Stone has launched into the US market by opening an office in Los Angeles.

The new US-based office follows the agency’s expansion into New Zealand earlier last year with the LA office supporting Australian and New Zealand based brands expanding into the US market.

Vuki Vujasinovic, founder and CEO at Sling & Stone will lead the expansion into the US dividing his time between both the Sydney and LA offices.

Dominique Koudsi, previously an account manager at Sling & Stone, will return to the US to assist Vujasinovic in the new LA office alongside Kimberly Lorman who joins from Brew PR.

Sling & Stone’s first client for its new office is Myriad Festival.

In a statement, Vujasinovic said: “The US has always been in my sights since founding the agency seven years ago, and I am very proud that we’re taking this leap.

“Having worked with so many incredible US brands, helping them launch and grow in Australia, we have a strong sense of how they operate and what they need.

“Los Angeles was a natural choice for our first US office. The energy in the creative, technology, and startup communities here is electric. While we’ll work with brands from all over the US, we are very excited to become a part of the LA innovation network.”

Sling & Stone’s current US headquartered clients include Twitter, Nest, Uber, Zillow, Slack, Goose Island, and Stripe.
