Starts at 60’s travel agency Travel at 60 launches first TV campaign
Digital media brand Starts at 60 has launched its first advertising campaign for its travel agency Travel at 60.
The 30-second TVC stars comedian and writer Jean Kittson explaining the ease of travelling for Australians aged 60 and over when employing the agency to plan their trip.
Travel at 60 was launched in September of last year. Starts at 60 also launched an e-commerce platform in May 2018.
CEO Rebecca Wilson said that Kittson was selected for the campaign due to her ‘naughty wit’.
Wilson also said that the campaign sought to promote the fact that the buying power of retired Australians is enhanced by Travel at 60’s services.
“Travel at 60 already uses your ability to travel outside the peak holiday seasons, at short notice and for extended periods to negotiate better-priced holiday offers with Australia’s largest travel companies, which we bring to you on our website and in our email newsletters,” Wilson said.
“But if even more over-60s join Travel at 60, we can also use the amazing buying power of a whole generation of travel-loving retirees Aussies to convince those companies to provide more of those great deals at bargain prices.”
The campaign also marks the launch of a competition to win a $10,000 cruise for two from Melbourne to New Zealand on Cunard’s Queen Elizabeth.
The ads will appear on Seven during The Chase, The Morning Show and during coverage of Wimbledon. Seven is a shareholder in Starts at 60.
We would like to know when and where the next tour is going
