AFTRS OPEN: Storytelling Skills for Factual TV
Are you a field producer, associate producer, researcher, editor or assistant editor wanting to take your career to the next stage?
This course is all about honing your storytelling skills for post-production writing for factual TV. Designed for aspiring post-producers who wish to develop high level story structure and writing skills, the course also caters for “predators” (producer/editors) – a new role in the world of factual TV, requiring not only technical editing skills but also writing.
In this course, you’ll learn the principles of narrative development, how to structure a story, and how to gear your writing towards factual, reality, current affairs or documentary television.
