Fremantle Media to produce the ARIA Awards

The 2010 ARIA Awards will be produced by Fremantle Media and broadcast by Network Ten.  

The announcement:

Australia’s most prestigious music event, the ARIA Awards, will this year be produced by FremantleMedia Australia (FMA) to be broadcast on Network Ten.

The event is to be held on Sunday, November 7, 2010 at the Sydney Opera House. The 2010 ARIA Awards will set a new benchmark with plans for presentations and performances to take place in both the Concert Hall and the Forecourt. In total, it will be eleven Awards and six performances with a stunning Sydney harbour backdrop.

FMA CEO, Ian Hogg, says ” We are very proud to be working with ARIA and Network Ten to bring this exciting music event to Australian audiences. Our production team is in a unique position to deliver a quality broadcast that will capture all the excitement and emotion of this spectacular night.”

Network Ten’s Chief Programming Officer, David Mott, says “I can assure you, with powerhouse production company FremantleMedia, we are well underway in the planning stages to create a television spectacle you’ve come to expect from TEN.”
