Spark Foundry wins PPG Industries’ media account
Global paint company PPG Industries has named Spark Foundry as its media agency, effective immediately, following a competitive pitch.
Previously held by UM, the account involves planning and buying for PPG Industries’ portfolio of brands, including Taubmans, Johnstone’s, Professional White Knight, and Bristol.
“We are pleased to appoint Spark Foundry as our media agency after a rigorous process, which recognised Spark’s genuine alignment with the journeys of our brands and customers,” said David Nicholls, PPG’s architectural coatings commercial director, ANZ.
“We are looking forward to the innovative and creative approach this new partnership will promote.”
The account will be handled out of Spark Foundry’s Melbourne office.
“We are delighted to work on such iconic brands. The process with PPG highlighted the strategic synergy of our businesses – as challenger brands within the Australian landscape,” added Peter Butler, Spark Foundry Melbourne’s managing director.
Last month, Spark Foundry also won the media account for The Cancer Council.
