Jimmy Brings creates song featuring Aussie musicians

Jimmy Brings has launched a social campaign featuring a song called ‘Get Jimmy’.

Written and conceived by artist G Flip with the support of Creative Entertainment Agency (CEA), the song features Lime Cordiale, Client Liaison, Dune Rats and Young Franco, and emerging artists Alex the Astronaut, Polish Club and Thandi Phoenix.

In the 56-second spot, the artists are singing the song as they order Jimmy Brings at a few social events, including dinner and a party.

Jimmy Brings head of marketing Jesikah Boatfield said: “The past two years has been tough for us all. This summer we’re encouraging everyone to have fun and connect with friends again, live in the moment and enjoy some spontaneity. But as much as ‘Get Jimmy’ is our toast to start the summer of fun that Aussies deserve, it’s also a big cheers to the Aussie artists who have been under pressure from lockdowns.”

The campaign is part of  ‘Our Soundtrack, Our Stories’ initiative to encourage Australia to discover, champion, share, and consume more local music.

The launch of “Get Jimmy” also marks the kick-off of $2 delivery all summer.

Jimmy Brings other previous campaigns have been done in-house, with R/GA and Paper Moose.
