oOh!media announces new head of digital sales

Out of Home pioneer oOh!media has hired Georgie Fox to lead its programmatic sales team – a new division dedicated to rolling out the company’s programmatic service offerings in accordance with client demands.

With 10+ years of experience working in the marketing technology space (most recently as head of investment and partnerships at Matterkind), Fox’s position as head of digital sales will see her regularly working alongside agencies, technology partners and advertisers to help clients leverage “programmatic digital Out of Home (pDOOH) in their wider Out of Home and omnichannel mix”.

Additionally, the role will see Fox assisting advertising partners (and sales teams) to adopt an ever-expanding programmatic portfolio. The job will also provide Fox with an opportunity to make use of oOh!media’s partnership with Unpacked by Flybuys and Westpac DataX – a formal arrangement that supplies oOh!media (and brands) with valuable, campaign-enriching data.

Moreover, Fox will represent her new employer on Outdoor Media Association’s programmatic working group and the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) Australia’s Digital Out of Home working group.

“A significant element of oOh!’s digital transformation is programmatic, and the appointment of Georgie and a dedicated programmatic sales team will set us up for continued growth,” Paul Sigaloff, oOh!media’s chief revenue and growth officer, said.

“We’ve scaled our supply and are investing in additional resources to ensure that 2024 will be a transformative one for oOh’s clients in pDOOH.

“Georgie is a programmatic specialist, bringing new digital skills that complement oOh!’s core business to meet the demands of advertisers and agencies that operate in this space. I’m delighted to welcome her to oOh! and look forward to working with her and the team as we continue to accelerate oOh!’s programmatic offering,”

It’s a sentiment Fox also shares, expressing her excitement at joining the oOh!media team and the possibilities the new job will see her uncover.

“The programmatic opportunities for advertisers and brands in Out of Home advertising are significant and will only increase alongside technological advancements,” Fox explained.

“As the market leader, oOh! has ambitious plans to leverage its national digital Out of home network and strong data and insights capabilities to offer improved targeting to make brands unmissable and I look forward to building a team of digital specialists to accelerate oOh!’s programmatic sales offering.”

Fox’s new career move comes hot off the heels of Sigaloff’s appointment in March earlier this year, along with the company’s Outfront plans to drive for sustainability, a more expansive Sydney network and more.
