Pacific creates customer data platform in partnership with TEG Analytics
Pacific has announced the launch of a customer data platform in partnership with TEG Analytics which puts data and consumer insights at the heart of its commercial and content operations.
The announcement:

Hasn’t everyone got access to this data? isn’t is a better commercial case to be partnering with agency groups who are doing the buying via automated technologies?
Overlaying TEG data with our publishers own data provides insights on our own audience (who have been matched with TEG’s audience – in Pac Mags case, 85% match).
TEG’s data source is largely from Ticketek’s eCommerce website.
Members who sign in to buy live event tickets and have them sent to their home or email address.
Other data sources are generally not sourced from eCommerce data, and lack accuracy.
That would be great, except agency groups don’t really have any data apart from what is publicly available (mostly ABS). Sometimes this is supplemented by small scale research data which is worthless from a big data standpoint.
1st party transactional data is always king.
Good stuff Andrew, Oli et al. Your credibility shone through.
