Senior Account Manager – Melbourne

About the role
We are looking for a driven, confident and passionate Senior Account Manager to join our team and to service and grow the Acast brand amongst major holding companies and direct advertisers. The position is a full time employment based in Melbourne.

You will be responsible for managing your own individual agencies and client patches through audio and social media monetizing. The role requires you to manage and build relationships across online and offline stakeholders across large and medium sized agency holding companies.

You have confidence in presenting, building relationships and have a passion for brand storytelling & advertising. We’re looking for someone who has previous media sales experience in a fast-paced media environment such as podcasting, radio, music streaming, video, and digital.

What will you do

• Work closely with Group Sales Lead and Account Managers to ideate and create media solutions for partners
• Manage and grow an established book of business across key media agencies in Australia and New Zealand whilst growing new advertisers
• Collaborate with various stakeholders internally and externally for ideation and create innovative media solutionsIdentify opportunities, build out sales strategies in order to deliver growth across your book of business
• Manage conversations with key stakeholders at all levels
• Strong internal collaboration with the wider sales team including, sales planners, content, creative leads and podcast creators
• Work closely with our creator network team, ad-ops & finance to ensure smooth delivery of all campaigns
• Deliver the highest level of service to all partners of Acast
• Liaise with Acast’s talented podcasters to manage and monetize their inventory
• Represent the Acast brand with a high level of knowledge and integrity

Who you are

• The role requires a relevant degree in media or marketing and at least 5+ years of relevant industry experience
• Media agency experience is a plus
• A plus if you have experience in selling digital audio or radio
• Confident and adept at presenting virtually or in person
• A demonstrated ability to meet and exceed revenue targets
• Excellent at relationships and value the importance of these to deliver positive business outcomes
• Highly productive, detail oriented and enthusiastic
• An ability to deliver results in a timely and precise manner
• Excellent written and spoken English and communication skills
• The ability think creatively, and strategically to come up with innovative client solutions
